Q.) Can I enter on the day?

A.) Only the Walk 4 life is available for on the day-entry. Entry for all other races must be made before the 14th March 2021.

 

Q.) I missed the registration and bib-pickup evening, what do I do?

A.) Alert the Race Director through our Contact Page

 

Q.) How do I get to the start of my race?

A.) A bus transfer is included in your ticket which picks you up at either the Paripari Domain in Ahipara or the old Pe in Kaitaia. Please check the Race Day Timetable for pick up times dependent on the event you choose.

Q.) Where do I find the race start times? 

A.) Under the Race Day Timetable

Q.) When and where do I collect my race bib?

A.) At the pre-registration evening: Friday 19th March, Korou Kore Marae – We will email you with a specific time closer to the event.

 

Q.) What do I do if I have an issue on the day of the event?

A.) Contact the Race Director through our Contact Page

Q.) Are there support stations along the course?

A.) Yes our runners will be well supported with aid stations and first aid kits every 3km.  

Q.) What footwear is appropriate?

A.) Comfortable running shoes or barefoot - at your own risk

Q.) What do I do if I am injured or sick?

A.) Contact the Race Director through our Contact Page. If you are injured or sick during the race please flag a support person in hi-vis gear.

Q.) What if I have to drop out of my race?

A.) Advise the Race Director immediately through our Contact Page.

Q.) Can I use a music device during my run?

A.) Yes, at your own risk

Q.) Where do I wear my race bib?

A.) Safety-pinned to your front where it cannot be obstructed from view

Q.) Is there parking available? 

A.) Yes

  PARIPARI DOMAIN, AHIPARA: Anywhere along Foreshore road Iis safe, or in the adjacent FREE     carpark

Q.) Is this a child-friendly event? 

A.) Yes, this is a whānau friendly day out with children's games and spot-prizes

Q.) Will I be able to get a post-race massage?

A.) Yes there will be both Maori traditional massage and physio/remedial massage available

 

Q.) Where do I leave the belongings that I don't use at the start-line?

A.) Properly labelled in the bins provided on the race bus which will be taken to the finish line

Q.) Where is the lost property bin located?

A.) Next to the stage at the information tent
